Events at Elk Creek Vineyards

Event Rules

The Elk Creek Vineyard stage is outdoors. Events take place rain or shine so bring rain gear if needed. Water and soda are available for purchase at all events. No alcoholic beverages other than Elk Creek wines are permitted on premises due to KY licensing. ID's are checked.

All patrons must have a ticket for entrance. If tickets are purchased for a group, please distribute these tickets prior to your arrival.
Tickets can be purchased in advance online or at the winery using a major credit card. Tickets can also be purchased the day of the event (space permitting). Please note however that tickets purchased at the event are more expensive (see event details). Advance online ticket purchases will incur a small processing fee.
Ticket price is for the event only and does not include wine or wine tasting.
Event tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE and valid ONLY for the event for which they were purchased. Sorry, NO EXCEPTIONS.
Pets are not allowed, with the exception of seeing eye dogs or other service animals.
Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Seating is on lawn terraces. Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket, lawn chair and/or small table.
Picnic baskets and other carrying containers / bags are subject to search.
Space is limited. Events are usually sold-out. Get your tickets early.
NO COOLERS OR OUTSIDE FOOD ALLOWED.

Kentucky Winemaking Tradition Continues

In 1798, Kentucky was the site of America's first commercial vineyard planted by the winemaker for the Marquis de Lafeyette. By the late 1800's, Kentucky was the third largest grape and wine producer in the United States. Then came Prohibition which hit the Kentucky wine industry hard just like it did in many other states. Many of the vineyards then in Kentucky were either uprooted and converted to cash crops or they were abandoned. Today of course the story is much different. There are many Kentucky wineries where visitors can enjoy wine tours and tastings. And Elk Creek Vineyards is leading the region for Kentucky vineyards and Kentucky wine. We're proud to be the largest winery in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Elk Creek Vineyards is nestled among the rolling hills of Kentucky in Owenton, KY. We established Elk Creek Vineyards in 2003 believing that the only way to make great wines is to intimately know what grows best on Kentucky soil. Elk Creek Vineyards is located just one hour's drive from Lexington KY, Louisville KY or Cincinnati OH. We offer a wide choice of Award winning wines that are produced and bottled on-site. In addition, we offer a deli, art gallery, cooking classes, Bed and Breakfast lodging, live entertainment, a gift shop and outdoor entertainment at our amphitheater during the Spring and Summer months.
