2008 Gewurztraminer

One whiff of this lovely wine and you will have roses on the nose!  With an emphasis on flowers and a massive fruitiness, its smooth and silky texture makes this off dry wine immensely enjoyable.  The concentrated fruit flavors of cantaloupe, citrus, pear and honey rage about in the glass in an eccentric but lovable way.  Try serving this wine with a roasted chicken in an apricot glaze, a pork roast with sautéed apples or any other dish with a fruit component.  It is lip smacking good!
