About the Artist:
John Stephen sees vision as a gift; his having arrived on the back of a horse. The horse has become his muse bringing him freedom with its inspiration. As with any true gift, John feels bound to share it.

He views his camera as an instrument to be played to create photographic images that linger like a lasting illumination in the viewer's eye and mind. While photography can become mired in commercialism, it can also soar on the wings of vision. The photos presented here are meant to delight the viewer adn record the beauty that is the horse.
