VIDAL BLANC 12.99			Support Colorectal Cancer Awareness & Prevention HELP US UNCORK A CURE!   (Cincinnati, OH) - Kroger, the nation's largest grocery retailer, teams with Elk Creek Vineyards, Kentucky's largest winery to raise awareness and generate revenue for research and prevention of colorectal cancer during the blue-ribbon month of March as today they jointly announce the formation of The Blue Ribbon Initiative.
PINOT GRIGIO 14.99			Specially labeled bottles of Elk Creek Wine, will be available for sale in 35 tri-state Kroger stores with a portion of the proceeds from the sale of those bottles being donated to Uncorking A Cure, a first-year foundation created to promote colorectal cancer awareness and prevention by building partnerships such as The Blue Ribbon Initiative. The three Elk Creek wines being featured in March include the crisp and complex Pinot Grigio and the subtle Vidal Blanc, both in distinctive cobalt-blue bottles, and the rich well-oaked Cabernet Sauvignon will add a little color to the trio. Elk Creek Vineyards will also be hosting a Fundraiser on March 7, 2009 from Noon until 7pm in support and to kickoff The Blue Ribbon Initiative. The day-long gala will include Tastings of all three Elk Creek Blue Ribbon Initiative Wines and a unique sampling of food
			pairings created by Kroger Chefs. You will also receive a souvenir Elk Creek wine glass.
